Lactation Consultant

I offer a range of services to support lactation and breastfeeding. These include:

  • Bespoke 1:1 antenatal breastfeeding teaching

  • Online or face to face antenatal support. Sessions can be used in whatever way you would like, including

    • debriefing a previous breastfeeding experience where your personal goals were not met

    • discussing preparation to breastfeeding including colostrum harvesting

    • working with families and surrogates to support provision of colostrum and early milk

    • investigating possible limitations to breastfeeding such as previous breast reduction surgery or insufficient glandular tissue and making plans to establish breastfeeding

  • Online or face to face breastfeeding support.

    • Face to face sessions at home in NW10, NW6, NW3, NW2. I also provide online and clinic based consultations

    • I offer support to establish breastfeeding, troubleshoot breastfeeding challenges such as poor latch, slow weight gain, fussing at the breast, challenging feeding behaviour, cows milk allergy, breast refusal/aversion

    • I can also support you to manage the balance of introducing solids and continuing to breastfeed, returning to work, breastfeeding into toddlerhood and gentle night weaning

let me support you with, knowledge, practical tips and expert answers to the most common questions that come up as you embark on the first months of breastfeeding.

The course contains a series of short videos which you can watch in whatever order you’d like in your own time. There are 20 videos in total. Alongside videos there is written content and downloadable information/resources.
