Antenatal and Postnatal breastfeeding support package

£225.00

This gift voucher will provide a series of bespoke antenatal and postnatal breastfeeding support sessions with an IBCLC (lactation consultant) via Zoom. This package consists of 3 separate sessions.

  1. The 45 minute antenatal session is the perfect accompaniment to other antenatal learning or teaching. On the zoom the parent to be will have an opportunity to discuss and plan for the first hours and days of breastfeeding following delivery of their newborn.

  2. This will be followed by an hour lactation and breastfeeding 1:1 via Zoom following the birth of their baby. Whether the new mother is having challenges establishing breastfeeding or has questions that they want answered about their new infants breastfeeding behaviour, this session will be delivered bespoke to their needs.

  3. The final session in the package is a 30 minute phone call. This can either be used as a follow up to the postnatal session or as a separate troubleshooting call anytime within the baby’s first year of life. Examples of troubleshooting can include managing breastfeeding when starting solids, returning to work or stopping breastfeeding.
